The accreditation

What the accreditation means

DelegatedOS is an Accredited Service Partner of Business South, for AI services to their clients. Business South supports businesses from the Waitaki River to Rakiura/Stewart Island.

It means Business South can refer businesses to us when its team comes across one that needs help with AI. So you may have heard our name from them, or seen it in an action plan they've put together.

The introduction comes from Business South. The work, and the agreement for it, is between you and us.

Why it matters to you

Business South describes an Accredited Service Partner as a provider it “knows, trusts, and confidently refers businesses to”.

Before accrediting us, it asked for our company profile, team bios, terms of engagement, proof of insurance and client testimonials.

So you're not taking a chance on a stranger.

The usual first step

Most clients start with the AI Business Lift

It's business-first discovery. We map how your business runs and find where AI would help most, before anything gets built.

A first call

30 minutes, free. We listen, answer your questions and tell you honestly whether we're a good fit. If the Lift makes sense, we confirm its price before any work begins.

Map your business

Six questionnaires in our client portal cover your time, your team, your customers, your recurring work, your tools and where things slow down. You go at your own pace.

Get your report

A written report with an AI opportunity map, quick wins, longer-term plays and a recommended starting point. We go through it on a 90-minute walkthrough, then a 30-minute follow-up call.

If AI isn't the right answer somewhere, the report says so. There's no obligation to continue with us, and the report is yours to keep.

For not-for-profits

Your AI Mission Leverage Discussion Paper

A practical first step for your board, from Carl Spruyt's Business South Lunch & Learn for not-for-profits.

You have two paths. Your own team can investigate internally, or we can help prepare the paper for you.

It sets out two or three opportunities, the assumptions and risks behind them, and a recommended first step.

How we prepare it

  • An organisational review of appropriate information about your mission, service philosophy, priorities and procedures
  • Focused research
  • A structured interview with your nominated team
  • Relevant specialist guidance from Your aiTEAM, our business-trained AI skills. We tell you which skills we intend to use and what each contributes
  • Human review before it reaches you

What you can expect

  • No obligation to adopt Your aiTEAM or buy further services
  • First-come, first-served scheduling
  • Scope, delivery arrangements and privacy terms agreed before we start, including how your information gets deleted
Results and people

Client results, and the people you'd deal with

Three business owners from around the South, in their own words.

"I've gained additional services I can offer that I can charge out to a client. And, by the time the work gets to me generally they need it sorted yesterday — it can be quite stressful because their expectations can be quite unrealistic. Now I can turn things around quite quickly and that's helping them, and helping me."
Clare Bussey Business Owner — LLL Quantity Surveyor, Central Otago
"Everything being in your head doesn't work for other people... I've got processes in my head and that's really difficult for other people to follow. We've been able to get this all out of my head and into software — who does what at what stage. It's worked really well and helped us standardise our standard operating procedures in a way our team can easily follow."
Jack Palin Business Owner — Polarbuild, Dunedin
"It kind of lifts the lid of the pressure cooker so some sort of steam can get out... I normally hate marketing. I think it's the most incredibly boring discipline of all worlds. But this has been useful and has been enjoyable. So it's changing what I'm enjoying in my day."
Fernanda da Silva Tatley Business Owner — Azurlis Botanical Skincare, Dunedin
